The 2008 African Snooker Championship will be played in Libya. Tournament will start on 20/7 till 27/7/2008. You can download the entry form by clicking here. Selected matches will be broadcasted over the internet free of charge and the Libyan TV will broadcast also the tournament over the Nile sat.

In association with the IBSF, the African Champion will represent the continent in the coming World Snooker Championship in Austria October 2008.

In association with the IBSF, the African Billiards & Snooker Federation will make exams for the African referees in Libya, so any referee who wish to be registered with the ABSF should send an email to Mr. Akram El- Baloula the ABSF General Secretary at: akram@africabsf.com  and copy to Mr. Ali Reda - Head of the ABSF Referee committee email: areda@eisgroup.com.eg
